Golf buggies now available to visitors and members
Welcome to the Clyne Golf Club website. At the entrance to the beautiful Gower Peninsula, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, lies Clyne Golf Club, Swansea. The championship course enjoys commanding views in all directions.
It overlooks Swansea to the east, the Bristol Channel and Mumbles to the south, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons to the north, with the commanding heights of Gower's Cefn Bryn to the west.
There has never been a better time to play Clyne than summer 2010, thanks partly to our new 18-hole sprinkler system. Throughout June, July and August visitors have been telling us they have not played on any better greens this year.
Designed by Harry Colt in the 1920's, the course presents a fine test of golf to all levels of handicaps. Colt's design and influence can also be seen at Sunningdale, Muirfield, Royal Lytham & St. Annes, and Real Golf Pedrena (Seve's course), as well as many other courses around the UK & the world.
