With the countdown to the 2010 Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor well underway we at Clyne Golf Club in Swansea are already preparing for the biggest golfing event ever to be staged in Wales.
Located on the Gower Peninsular, the first place in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Clyne is less than an hour's drive from Newport .
With a direct rail link, many travelling golf fans from Europe and America are sure to base themselves in Swansea for the event on 1 - 3 October 2010.
For the build-up and duration of the Ryder Cup we have a limited number of Ryder Cup Memberships available from as little as £70 per player allowing visitors unlimited access* to Clyne's 18-hole championship course and the special competitions and events we are planning.
Three packages are available at a cost of £70 for one week, £120 for two weeks and £150 for three weeks during late September and early October 2010.
Membership holders will be able to play Clyne as and when they wish during the membership period subject to usual course restrictions.
They will also enjoy a warm and friendly welcome at the club's restaurant, lounge and bar, which will be showing uninterrupted live coverage of all three match days on our large screen.
Clyne will be staging a number of special club competitions for men and women during the period which membership holders, with a valid handicap certificate, will be welcome to play in.
For those looking to be fixed-up with games with our permanent members then our club professional or manger will be happy to help.
We at Clyne are determined to make the Ryder Cup's historic first ever visit to Wales a memorable one and extend a warm welcome to all travelling golf fans, from both sides of the Atlantic, for the competition.
