MONDAY
COMPETITIONS TO
COMMENCE on 7th APRIL 2003
FIRST
CARDS 4 p.m. LAST CARDS 5.30 p.m.
These
competitions are open to all members of the club with a handicap of
18 and over. They are
played initially over 9 holes but are increased to 11 holes as the
light improves. Prizes
are in the form of golf balls and points can be accumulated in the
‘Stones Golfer of the Year’ competition.
The Golfer of the Year competition will not start until
Monday 28th April and will finish on Monday 29th
September.
There is a £5
subscription to the section and an entry fee of £1 each time you
play in a Monday competition.
N.B.
Juniors do not pay the subscription or competition fee and
will have their own Golfer of The Year competition during 2003.
This
is a great opportunity for new, and old, members to meet new playing
partners and to compete for a place in the team to represent the
club in the Stones league.
The
section had a membership in excess of 70 during 2002 and new members
are very welcome. Just
turn up between 4.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. any Monday evening, from the
7th April 2003 onwards, excluding Bank Holidays.
